Updated version of my first MAIKA Original Song, written in 2014 for Voctro Labs' MAIKA Original Song contest. Debately the song that shot me into the spotlight of any kind, for better or worse.
It's been a while, but I think I wrote this song about the need to connect with others, really. About the danger of excluding yourself from the outside, even if you're doing it to hide your own pain. It's important to me to have at least one person to get you out of your shell, to come clean; it can get pretty dark when you're all alone. And when you first draw the curtain, you might want to close it again, and that's okay, too; it's all about little steps.
lyrics
So there it goes again
I've lost it, now it's time to pretend
That I'm still not a lost cause
That I know I have those flaws
I can't see clearly when
My eyes are open, mind closed in
My thoughts built a wall around me
I built it, the wall defines me
So once again, I wonder
Who else is through the border?
I'm caving in
The walls, my walls, oh no
They're caving in
Times up, I'm done
Throw up my thoughts; think of none
I need something
To seize what's left of me
I'm blank, sheet white
I need some paint, nothing bright
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
I feel the need
To bleed to prove I still breathe
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
I'm blank, sheet white
I need some paint, nothing bright
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
I feel the need
To bleed to prove I still breathe
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
I'm blank, sheet white
I need some paint, something bright
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
I feel the need
To bleed to prove I still breathe
I'll leave it up to thee
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me
Come and define me

Circus's "715" is an excellent evolution of his sound and style since the "Lucid" days. I'm extremely proud to be part of it (on "Patches", "Castaway" remix), and thoroughly enjoy the entire album. nostraightanswer
Melt came into my orbit by covering a song I recorded for Circus-P. Since then, her own sound has become something quite special, and has made herself a mainstay of the English VOCALOID scene. nostraightanswer
