Have you ever been stuck on something someone once said to you, a long time ago? And you've wanted to see them again, since? Have you ever met someone that permanently left an impression on you? Perhaps had a friend or a lover who was that person? Maybe that person always was a pleasure to be around, and you welcomed that presence openly? Someone that made you feel at home, no matter where you were?
That's what this song is about. I've only had this happen once or twice, personally, so I approached it more from a fictional angle.
lyrics
Echoes of the words you said
I toss and turn in my bed
Of velvet and red
As you run inside my head
Eroded visions of the best
All which fade at the edges
Each like the rest
My heart pounding in my chest
Reminded
Oh, I don't wanna lose the thunder
No, I don't wanna say goodbye
With everything you do, I wonder
Cuz when I'm with you, you get me, so
Yeah, you could be a violet summer
And you could be the starry sky
Cuz if the world was falling under
I know that with you, you get me so high
(You get me, so)
You get me so high
You get me so high
You get me so high
Rain falls down beneath the street
But no one dares to believe
The smallest of dreams
Could ever escape the seams
Unspoken tales of underneath
The city built in the sea
With gold limousines
Where you captivate the scene
And I said
Oh, I don't wanna lose the thunder
No, I don't wanna say goodbye
With everything you do, I wonder
Cuz when I'm with you, you get me, so
Yeah, you could be a violet summer
And you could be the starry sky
Cuz if the world was falling under
I know that with you, you get me so high
(You get me, so)
I can't seem to let it slide
Something's there between the lines
I'm unaware so tell me why
When I'm with you, you get me so high
You get me so high
You get me so hi-i-i-i-i-high
You get me so high
You get me so-o-o high
You get me ge-ge-ge high
You get me so high
(Oh, I don't wanna lose the thunder)
(No, I don't wanna say goodbye)
(With everything you do, I wonder)
(Cuz when I'm with you, you get me, so)
Imagination running wild
Across the ocean, miles and miles
Can't wait to say, "it's been a while"

Circus's "715" is an excellent evolution of his sound and style since the "Lucid" days. I'm extremely proud to be part of it (on "Patches", "Castaway" remix), and thoroughly enjoy the entire album. nostraightanswer
Melt came into my orbit by covering a song I recorded for Circus-P. Since then, her own sound has become something quite special, and has made herself a mainstay of the English VOCALOID scene. nostraightanswer
